Our mission is to strengthen and encourage trans-border visibility and collaboration amongst performing artists, queer artists, musicians, actors and dancers.

Each season of LA RARA NOCHE welcomes artists to participate in any of each of the three shows at least once. Functioning similar to an open mic night, artists can present their ideas informally as we encourage experimentations to take place freely.

Our vision is to support and help artists advance their work by providing participating artists with some funds, access to space (rehearsal), a venue for presenting, a secured audience, technical assistance and some equipment.

LA RARA NOCHE strives to introduce audiences with a wide and colorful spectrum of contemporary performance by bringing together regional talent and present their work outside of institutionalized venues.
